Who am I?

I am Dr. Orobosa Owie

Dr. Orobosa Owie is a Professor of Health Management & Public Health, International Speaker, Human Capital Leadership Practitioner, and Author of the book Be Bold, Be Confident, Be You- A Motivational Guidebook for Shattering the Fear Ceiling. As a former United Nations Youth leader, Dr. Orobosa created and hosted a series of programs and events focused on providing the next generation of emerging leaders with the essential tools, resources, and advice needed to succeed. Impressed by her impact within the NYC Young Professionals community, Dr. Orobosa was invited by President Obama to be a part of a round table discussion at the White House in 2014 to discuss the launch of the administration's Young African Leaders Initiative and its Nelson Mandela Washington Fellowship. 

 

Dr. Orobosa is a 2x entrepreneur and profound businesswoman. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the For Health Scholars, an academic coaching and mentorship organization that helps health administration, management, and public health students successfully obtain their degrees and start and sustain profitable careers within the business sectors of healthcare industries globally. Dr. Orobosa is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Be Bold Africa, a leadership, vocational, and personal development grassroots organization that provides mentorship programs to women and girls globally. In her pursuit to continuously cultivate and mentor professionals, Dr. Orobosa is also a Faculty Member at Monroe College with the School of Allied Health. Dr. Orobosa holds a bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degree in Health Administration.
